9 Gifts Of The Holy Spirit Scripture
(1) The vocal gifts The Holy Spirit speaks to us or through us. Languages - This is a language that is never learned by the speaker, nor understood by the mind of the speaker. Heavenly (angelic) or human language. Is not the same as personal languages. Interpretation – The supernatural display by the spirit of the interpretation or meaning of tongues. This is not a literal translation. Prophecy – A spontaneous, supernatural vocal expression of inspiration in a familiar tongue that strengthens, encourages and comforts the body of Christ. Is a direct message from God.

Words of Wisdom Purpose: For protection and instruction. Reveal how you can use disclosed knowledge. Can reveal how to pray for the situation. 14 (3) The gifts of power the manifestation of God’s power working through us. The gift of faith – Supernatural faith for a specific time and purpose. It is given when needed for an immediate task or one in the near future. Words of wisdom cause the gift of faith. Working of Miracles – Supernatural intervention in the ordinary course of nature. It is the demonstration of God’s power in which natural laws are changed, suspended or controlled. Gifts of Healing – Supernatural communicators of God’s healing power to people in need of healing. It is plural as there are many ways to give healing to the sick.
Received by the operation of gifts of revelation. Often manifested as another gift of power (Mark 4:37-41) Give glory to God, let others believe and fear. Resurrection faith (Luke 7:12-15). Judgment speaks faith – Matt 21:19; Acts 5:9-11;13:8-12 gives protection and victory – Daniel 3:16-18; 20-26 Work miracles: Begin with knowledge and need wisdom that releases the gift of faith that causes us to boldly do the revealed word of wisdom. Purpose: Deliver from danger, protect, provide, judge, confirm a calling, confirm preached word.
In the OT: Moses – Exodus 7:4-5; Elijah – 2 Kings 2:8 (2 Kings 2:13-15) IN THE ACTS: Acts 2:19-12, 43 ; 8:5, 6 etc… TODAY: John 14:12 – “Greater things”! Healing Gifts Work: Words of Knowledge Come as a feeling, a word, a thought, a vision, or depending on the person’s location, faith is released with wisdom to know how to bring healing. What Does 1 Corinthians 6:9 Mean?
1. This study does not question the power or ability of the Holy Spirit to speak in tongues to people today. Rather, it questions whether He has chosen to speak in tongues through people today. The purpose of this study is not to malign the Holy Spirit in any way or to deprive Him of any of His power, personality or divinity. We do not diminish the Holy Spirit, we exalt the Scriptures. They are “the sword of the Holy Spirit”, “the power of God unto salvation”. The Scriptures reveal everything we need to know about doctrine or moral conduct. Since this “all-sufficient guide” is completely understandable, we have no need for spiritual gifts at this time.
Stand as a monument to God’s work naturally without extra help as God rested on the 7th day!
