‘Kirik Party’ was a hit movie in Kannada which showed the life of students. The 2016 film starts with lighthearted moments and continues to be serious with a bit of a weird shade towards the end. The film tells the story of a school and its students. In the film, the Kerala government decides to close the Kannada medium government school in Kasaragodu and the students fight the government to get the school back. Director Rishab Shetty showed all aspects of a school like friends, first love, struggles etc. He also tried to show that kids can make big changes and not be underestimated. Autograph originally began in late 1983 as a solo project for singer, songwriter and guitarist Steve Plunkett. That he left before the band another called Silver Condor. Plunkett performed and recorded his own material with a group of musician friends. Most of them had previously played with him in other bands. Plunkett chose the name “Autograph” for the band.
