For This Is The Will Of God – God has a plan for you! Isn’t that comforting? You don’t need to come up with some amazing life journey, start an orphanage or go to the jungle. You have to spend time with him, listen when he speaks and obey.
God’s ultimate will is the advancement of His kingdom (Dan 2:44), His glorification (1 Cor 10:31) and the salvation and sanctification of His children through His Son Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:9).
For This Is The Will Of God
His desire is, first, for a relationship of love with us, and second, for us to do good works. “We are God’s handiwork, created for good works in Christ Jesus; Ephesians 2:10
Ways To Stay In The Will Of God
Stop thinking of God’s will for your life as a separate plan from His will for His kingdom. They are all one.
“Therefore I beseech you, brethren, by the mercy of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind to understand what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2

This is God’s will, which will be done no matter what. Nothing will stop. God says in Isaiah 46:10, “My purpose shall be established, and I shall do all that I please.” Nothing can stop or stop this project. It takes into account human sin and evil.
Things You Will See When God Is Really Sending You A Sign
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus said, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; But not as I want, but as you want.
John Piper explains, “It didn’t change, and Jesus bowed down and said, ‘Here’s my request, but do what’s best for you.'” That’s the sovereignty of God.
“Also, do not miss the most important point, which includes the sins of man. Herod, Pilate, the soldiers, the leaders of the Jews – all of them sinned in carrying out the will of God, that His Son should be crucified (Isaiah 53:10). So be very clear: God wants to do some things that He hates.
“The Lord is quick to fulfill his promise, but is patient with you, so that none perish but all come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
Things God Requires Before He Will Grant Your Request
“Give thanks in all circumstances; For this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
“For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should silence foolish ignorance.” 1 Peter 2:15
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
“All Scripture is inspired by God, useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be perfect, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Prayer For God’s Will In My Life
“Man, he showed you what’s good. What is the Lord asking of you? Do what is right, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8
“For I know my plans for you, plans for good and not for evil, plans for the future and hope,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 29:11
“Then you will cry to me, come to me and pray, and I will hear you.” You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13
“Now the God of peace himself will sanctify you completely, and your whole spirit, soul, and body will be preserved blameless until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23
Most Powerful Bible Scriptures On God’s Will
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may discern what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2
Often people approach knowing God’s will and do it this way: They say, “Lord, what do you want me to do?” When do you want me to do it? How to do it?”
Isn’t this answer very common for us? We always ask God for a detailed “road map.” We say, “Lord, if you tell me where I’m going, I can set my course and go.”
He says, “You don’t have to. You just have to follow me once a day.” We must come to a place where our response to God is, “Lord, tell me what to do at one time, and I will do it.”
God Will Give You Something To Say
Who really knows how to fulfill God’s purpose in your life? God is one! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).
I am often asked, “Annie, I have an important decision to make. How do I know if it’s God’s will?” Four things I use to determine God’s will when making a decision:
Before you take the leap of faith, have at least three of these four. But sometimes God may require you to take a step of faith before circumstances warrant.
In order to accurately recognize God’s voice, we must understand and believe that God has a plan. He wrote the script for us to follow. He doesn’t want us to invent ourselves, write new verses, or change his clothes to suit our agendas. He wants us to realize and believe that His plans are good.
You Will Have To Answer To God For How You Used Your Gifts And Fulfilled Your Purpose
God’s plans were made and prepared before you were born, or even before time began. He already has an agenda for your career, ministry, finances, and family; His plans must always come before yours!
We have to decide whether to spend our time discovering and aligning ourselves with God’s purposes, or to do what we want, asking God for his blessing.
It comforts me to know that doors were opened and closed for Paul in Acts just as they are today. He didn’t know God’s exact plan, but he was willing to obey every step of the way.
Interestingly, as Silas and Paul begin their journey, which is Paul’s second journey, the door to a place they thought was open closes. … “Forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia, they passed through the regions of Phrygia and Galatia.” (Acts 16:6)
God Will Never Reject You
Now just a minute! Are there no needs in Phrygia and Galatia? absolutely. Don’t you get lost there? absolutely. Could there not have been a better place for this apostle and his companions to serve? It seems No, the door is closed.
Note that the door is not closed by Satan. And it was not closed because it was difficult for them. Paul has already proven that he can overcome adversity. The Holy Spirit closed the door. He is forbidden to go there.
“They came to Mysia and tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them. So, they passed through Mysia and went to Troas. (Acts 16, 7-8)
… They could not go further because Thoros was at the edge of the Aegean Sea. Now, we’re not going to read all their emotions here, but some nights there’s a lot of grappling and wrestling and talk of “Why should we go on this trip?”
Sermon: God Will Surely Do It (1 Thessalonians 5:22 28)
During the night, a vision appeared to Paul: a man from Macedonia was standing there, urging him to “come to Macedonia and help us.” God called us to preach the Gospel to them. (Acts 16:9-10)
I believe it is our responsibility to make a choice against the Lord who says I will not give you my agenda. I don’t expect you to fulfill my wishes. I am available to you. I can say that I have been amazed by the leadership in all the places I have served. I’m not looking for any of them.
I read a book about God’s will that said there is no point in praying for results in your life or praying for others because it is up to you. The teacher said that God doesn’t care who you marry, what school you go to, what house you buy. I threw the book away. I believe this is contrary to what the Bible says and my own testimony.
How can it be said that God does not care about the important moments of our lives? Does the God who knows the number of hairs on our heads and collects our tears in a bottle care about our loved ones, our dreams, goals or life events? Impossible.
