Life as we know it is the most precious gift we have. It is worth more than any dollar amount or worldly wealth. We have only one function to live in it. The world we live in is not always kind to us.

Because of our selfish and sinful nature, we make decisions that can have irreversible consequences in the lives of others, as exemplified by 9/11. There are also times when things happen for seemingly no reason or reason, such as Hurricane Dorian.

These and many other tragedies will continue until Christ returns. Therefore, it is very important that we do our best to be right with God before we die.

Having such an amazing relationship doesn’t exempt us from times of sadness or hardship. One might ask in response to this statement, “What’s the point of having such a relationship if you’re still suffering?”
The answer is hope which is eternal and imperishable. The greatest love was available to anyone who wanted it. This gift is free, yet it will cost you everything to get it.

When we decide to exchange our present life for a new eternal life, we are no longer bound to a temporary life on earth. Our true hope is in our afterlife. God gave the apostle John a vision of heaven where there would be no more pain, suffering or death.
All will be joyous without measure because we will fully understand how truly God loves and why He was willing to let His only Son Jesus Christ live among us and suffer and die in our place so that we may be reconciled to His death and resurrection. .
Our lives are short compared to eternity and it is important to choose this life while we live. Once we die, regardless of the cause of our death, it is too late to change course. I pray that you will take time to examine your life and be willing to exchange that which is temporary.

The day is coming when the Lord Himself will dwell with men – and they will be His people and He will be their God. This will be the day all wrongs will be corrected. Joy will replace sorrow, and God Himself will dry every tear.

The Lord knows the deepest pain that burns the hearts of His people and in Psalm 56 we are told that,
He keeps the tears that his people have shed on this earth, because they have witnessed many evils and suffered many tortures and sufferings for Christ. But the tears of His people are precious to the Lord, because they are partakers of Christ’s sufferings and pains.
Jesus was despised and rejected when he came to earth as a sacrifice for sin. He was a man of sorrows and was familiar with the same sorrows and pains that we often go through. But he also suffered the pain of the cross for us to defeat sin and Satan, death and hell. What a blessed truth… the day is coming when every tear will be dried because of our precious Saviour, His self-sacrifice…

Because of His sacrifice, we are promised that there will be no crying in heaven and that death and destruction will be swallowed up in victory. Because of Christ’s own offering, we are able to ascend into new life, where pain and sorrow will flee – what a wonderful day!
There are those who believe that saints who have squandered the opportunities of life, strayed from the Savior during their earthly walk, failed to grow in grace, and stagnated in their Christian growth, through indifference or carnality, will be overcome with remorse and sorrow .. when his Tears flowed for failure. But it has been pointed out that the emphasis in this passage is on God’s consolation to His people, not on the repentance of the saints for the loss of reward.
That day has already been appointed, in the council chambers of heaven, when God will wipe away all tears And on that day we will all be witnesses. But never forget that in this world of sickness and sin, suffering and pain, we have a Savior, who understands the hollow sorrow behind every tear that clouds our vision today and cuts deep into our souls.
Never forget that the Spirit of God’s comfort dwells within us, who is with us when every solitary tear begins to wet our eyelids. Jesus came to heal the broken hearted and set the captives free and His Holy Spirit understands – He knows, He loves and cares for each of us, so run into His comforting arms and believe in His love today, for the day is coming when there will be no more sorrow. , there will be no crying, no pain.

Is this the world we want to live in and are we satisfied with it? Certainly not for me. I’m sure none of us are happy with the current state of the world. But though we may be in endless tribulation, please take heart. Because God has promised a time when all these things will end. He promised to wipe away our tears, to create a world where there will be no more death, mourning, crying or pain.
With that hope in mind, let’s talk a little more about the origin of suffering, when it will end, and what suffering or death will no longer mean to you, me, and the world at large.
