The Power Of The Anointing — Amazing Love

While learning about this topic, memories from my childhood come to mind. When I was a child growing up in Israel, the winds blowing from the south would bring dust to my hometown of Jaffa. The rush would come with all the silt sifting through the air.
But when the winds start blowing from the country of Lebanon, 140 kilometers to the north, you would wake up to the smell of the aromatic cedar tree. Freshness filled the air. You would go outside and see the sharpness in the sun around you. I grew acutely aware of the changes in the atmosphere and the growing intensity of His anointing that can happen literally overnight.
We are also going through an atmospheric shift now. What we do now will dramatically affect the future, especially when we step into the supernatural connection that makes all the difference in the world!

The cedars of Lebanon are mentioned 103 times in the Bible. They are called “the trees of the Lord” (Psalm 104:16, NSW). Cedars were used in tabernacle offerings (Numbers 19:6).
And in Isaiah 35:1-2 we say about “the glory of Lebanon.” This refers to changes in the atmosphere that occur with rain, growth, fresh winds and clear skies as “water breaks out in the desert, and streams in the desert; the burning sand will become a pool, and the thirsty ground water springs” ( Isaiah 35:6-7, ESV).
This passage of scripture describes healing, the removal of evil, and “it will be a highway, and it will be called the way of holiness” (Isaiah 35:8, ESV). Moreover, “everlasting joy will be on their heads; they will receive joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing will depart” (Isaiah 35:10, ESV).
The Lord says to the faithful, as in Song of Solomon 4:16, ASV: “Awake, north wind, and come… blow on my garden, let its herbs flow.” Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat the garden. The most beautiful fruits of it.
Anointing Makes The Difference
Today the Lord is showing me that the anointing will be released on covenant believers as we have never known before!
A change is coming, as described in Isaiah 35. The spiritual climate is changing. It gets more intense. We must be ready!
In Isaiah 35 it is crucial to note that when the winds brought a new, refreshing atmosphere, the evil had to go away. Even when the “spirit of God” was destroyed (verse 7) and the stormy animals were driven away (verse 9), the eyes of The blind. The ears of the deaf did not stop. The cripple jumped like a deer. The tongue of the dumb sang for joy!
I think we can all agree that the last few months have changed our whole world. So much so that what we took every day for a good day was suddenly gone. Normality has disappeared into thin air.
The Necessity Of A Fresh Anointing
Even as the world continues with an international pandemic, geopolitical turmoil and economic chaos, and even as fear and uncertainty has apparently become the “new norm”, what I hear from Almighty God is that it is time for believers to step forward in Liberation and victory, do not shrink back in fear or panic!
More than ever before, we know that regardless of the circumstances around us, God has given us the tools, knowledge and opportunity for us to stand tall as we boldly shine the light of the world around the world. To do this, we must prepare to do spiritual battle – starting today!
The key is learning to see God in everything, not in the circumstances. To do this, we must have the mind of Christ!
A fresh anointing does not just happen. Just as every gardener knows, the soil must be properly prepared and watered before planting, growing and harvesting.
How To Receive The Holy Spirit Anointing
“For who understood the mind of the Lord to teach him?” But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16, ESV) To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6, ESV) Set your mind on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. (Colossians 3:2, ESV) For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every high opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:4-5, ESV)
Therefore, I encourage you, brothers, by the mercy of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you can discern by testing what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1-2).
What does it mean not to conform to this dry, restless, fearful world, but to be transformed by the renewing, refreshing spirit of God in your spirit?
God wants to transform you spiritually, emotionally and physically! How your mind is changed from old to new is critical!
