In All Give Thanks To God – As we come to the end of 2012, we have much to thank our Lord for. There may be difficulties, sickness, death and loss that we face, but in the midst of it all we can thank our wonderful God who is the source of all hope in adversity.
How often do we thank God? Or are we always complaining about what we don’t have and what we want? How often do we praise the Lord at midnight? Many times we fall into bed after doing many things without even thinking about our Lord.

I was encouraged by the letter I received about the invitation to pray as we see it in 2013. It was published by the Australian Inner Prayer Network and says “As we enter 2013 we are very grateful to the Lord for bringing this. A year has come to its end and a new year is upon each of us. A What we can all be sure of as we enter the new year is that the Lord is calling us all to greater passion. A sharper awareness and wisdom with devoted holiness and commitment to all who are ready with prayer and faith.Continue on this path, trust him again for next year.

So let’s start now with new mod. Passionate love and commitment to first honor Abba Father as a heartfelt “praise and gratitude” for what he has done for each of us, his children, over the past year.
As we enter 2013 let’s stay close to Jesus, accept Him as our Lord and Savior and honor Him.

Make it your daily habit, like me, to lift your heart in praise to God when you get out of bed every morning. Just say, “Lord God, I love you and I praise you.” What a great way to start your day and live your life!
