He shared that he didn’t think he could survive without his prayers of thanksgiving. He misses her a lot, but he starts his day with happy memories instead of sadness and that carries him through the next day.
He looked at me and said with all the sincerity he could muster, “Thank you for everything!”
I don’t have to endure a trial like this, and frankly I don’t want to. However, I will never forget witnessing the gratitude of my friend and his dog. It takes him every day to go out and live.
