After much fan backlash and gnashing of teeth, Diablo Immortal is finally arriving this week, and no, you don’t need phones to play it. The game is also available on PC, although much of the functionality and monetization of the mobile game remains. After a 15-year absence, Nintendo’s fan-favorite arcade soccer franchise returns with Mario Strikers: Battle League. It’s nice to see Mario getting dirty again. You can pre-order the game here.

Developer Supermassive Games put themselves on the map with the surprise PS4 exclusive hit Until Dawn, but they’ve never quite hit the mark. Sure, they’ve continued to make choice-based horror with The Dark Pictures Anthology and other games, but it’s clear they haven’t gotten the resources to replicate the success of Until Dawn. Well, The Quarry can change that. Funded from the deep pockets of 2K Games, The Quarry looks set to be Supermassive’s biggest and bloodiest butcher-fest of beautiful people. The constant drumbeat of new Musou games from Koei Tecmo just doesn’t stop, the latest being Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. The first Fire Emblem Warriors was a solid effort, so hopefully this sequel hits the same successful note. You can pre-order the game here.

Souldiers takes advantage of many recent trends – it’s a Metroidvania, Soulslike and hardcore platformer all rolled into one. It might sound derivative, but Souldiers still looks enticing thanks to its lush 2D visuals, slick action, and compelling soundtrack. Phobia – St. The Dinfna Hotel has a grounded, atmospheric art style somewhat reminiscent of P.T. and the various games it inspired, but it’s not a horror-walking sim. You can also expect a lot of complex puzzles based on a camera that sees the past and the future, and full action as you take on the various grotesque monsters that haunt the hotel.
