When Jesus died on the cross, God the Father released his wrath, anger, wrath – PUNISHMENT (Isaiah 53:4-12, Isaiah 52:13-14) on the innocent and the SINNER (1 Peter 3:18) Jesus (Son of God . ) On the cross, God dealt with Jesus as if he had committed every sin—for every person, in the history of the world—those people who would turn to Him for salvation (Matthew 4:17). God the Father treated Jesus as if Jesus lived our sinful life here on earth – so that God can treat those who repent and believe the Gospel ( Mark 1:15 ) as if we lived HIS PERFECT LIFE! Sin must be paid for – Justice must be used, to satisfy God’s righteous and holy wrath for sin (Romans 2:5-11, Ephesians 2:3; 5:6). Jesus became an INSTEAD (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10, 2 Corinthians 5:21) for ALL people – those people who repent and believe the Gospel – Mark 1:15. (Luke 13:3, 5, Acts 20:21, Acts 17:30-31, Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Acts 20:21).

God used the substitutionary death of Jesus to demonstrate (Romans 5:8) for ALL time His wonderful riches of goodness – and His infinite love for us. He did this by using the Background of evil (2 Corinthians 4:6) – which God allowed to SEE ALL His goodness and mercy (Psalm 23:6). In Ephesians 2:7 it says, “That God in ALL FUTURE MEASURES HIMSELF, may be examples of the AMAZING RICHNESS OF HIS GRACE AND MERCY to us, as shown in all that he has done for us, who are one with CHRIST JESUS.” .” God will receive GLORY AND HONOR forever for all he has done for those who are in Christ Jesus (Revelation 4:11, Revelation 5:12-13). Jesus, who is RIGHTEOUS, HOLY, and RIGHTEOUS, died for the UNJUST (NKJV – 1 Peter 3:18). Christ became a “CURSE” for us (Galatians 3:13) so that we might become “the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” (NKJV – 2 Corinthians 5:21). In other words, we committed a crime, and Jesus intervened, and paid our punishment. This is good news. Mark 1:1 “This is the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.” (1 Corinthians 15:2-9). This is the work of God’s infinite love and mercy for us sinners (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10, John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Ephesians 2:1-8).
Jesus, who is infinitely holy and perfect, took our sins upon himself so that God’s wrath and punishment for our sins could be fulfilled. So God can DELETE THE LAST MEMORY OF SIN that is now held against us (Colossians 2:14). He will forgive us and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). He will make us his sons (Galatians 4:5-7) – and we will be BORN again (John 3:3), in the family of God (1 John 3:9). As his children, we should reflect the glory of Christ in our lives (2 Corinthians 3:18, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Matthew 5:16), by living a holy and pure life (1 Peter 1:14-17). for the GLORY OF GOD (1 Corinthians 10:31, John 3:30) – from the LOVE of JESUS (John 14:15, John 14:21, Luke 6:46). Then God will make us heirs with CHRIST (Romans 8:17), and we will RULE AND RULE WITH CHRIST in the Kingdom of God – forever! (Revelation 20:6, Revelation 1:6, Matthew 13:43) This was God’s plan a long time ago, to make us part of his family (Ephesians 1:4-5).
However, IF we reject JESUS, and REFUSE TO HEAR THE GOOD NEWS (Hebrews 10:26-31, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-11), and/or continue to SIN (1 John 3:9-10), we prove that we are NOT children of God, but we confirm (Mt 3:8) that we are children of the devil (1 John 3:6-7, 8, 1 John 2:3-6), who is the Father of Lies. is (John 8:44).
There will be a Day of Judgment where Jesus will punish all Lawbreakers (Matthew 7:22-23). A righteous judge answers Sin and Evil with Justice, and does NOT let go: murderers, rapists, thieves go free. Jesus is the Righteous Judge (2 Corinthians 5:10-11, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-11, 2 Timothy 4:1), and because He is holy and just (1 Peter 1:15-17), punishment his for him. Sin has no end. Adam disobeyed God when he ate the fruit that God told him not to eat. He changed his favor to God for his own pleasure and glory. His spiritual life ended immediately, and his fellowship with God was broken.
Like Adam, we rejected God. We are guilty of sin. We are not guilty of just sinning. Sin has corrupted every part of our human life. Our understanding, personality and emotions are under the power of sin.
Sin is more than the violation of arbitrary, impersonal rules. Sin is our rebellion against our Creator. The final destination for ungodly, unbelieving sinners is eternal torment called “hell”.

All our sins, rebellion and all our iniquities are placed on Jesus, and he dies for it. The perfect life that Jesus lived is attributed to us, and we are declared righteous. God looks at us, and instead of seeing our sins, he sees the righteousness of Jesus.
Every other religion rejects the idea that we are justified by faith alone. Instead, salvation is achieved through moral efforts and good deeds, balancing one’s account by accumulating enough merit to overcome one’s evil. Faith is giving up on your good deeds and trusting Christ alone.
Repentance is turning away from sin, hating it and deciding with the power of God to leave it. Repentance is essential to the Christian life. Accepting Jesus as Savior and not Lord is not the answer to salvation.
